Entrepreneur Vin Murria joins finnCap in key advisory role

finnCap, the fast-growing broker and adviser to ambitious companies, is delighted to announce that prominent entrepreneur Vin Murria has acquired a significant stake in the Company, and has become a strategic adviser to finnCap, with a view to becoming Deputy Chairman in due course.

Vin set up Advanced Computer Software in 2008 and sold the business for £765m in 2015. She is now a non-executive director at FTSE250 Sophos Plc, Zoopla Plc, and Softcat Plc, and is a Senior Advisor at NM Rothschilds.

She brings more than 25 years’ experience in venture capital, private equity, M&A as well as operational experience in the software sector. Vin was named Cisco's Woman of the Year (2012), Tech Entrepreneur of Year (2012) and Advanced was Tech Company of the Year in 2014.

Commenting on the decision to become part of the finnCap team, Vin Murria said,
