Today we are delighted to announce that finnCap Group has acquired a 50% interest in Energise Limited, a net zero and sustainability consultancy.

This investment will help businesses address the challenges of transitioning to net zero - clients will have access to a practice with the expertise to solve their key sustainability issues - and make it simple for companies to start their journey towards a sustainable future.

Sustainability-focused business transformation

Based near Cambridge, UK, and founded in 2008 by Simon and Tamsin Alsbury, Energise focused initially on developing energy saving options for corporate and public sector clients. It has since grown into a full-service net zero and energy efficiency practice assisting over 180 clients in meeting their climate change challenge with a core focus on regulatory compliance, best practice, measurement and emission reduction programmes to drive effective climate-focused business transformation.

Energise was awarded B-Corp status in February 2022 and the prestigious Net Zero Leaders award last year.

Energise’s clients range from FTSE250 companies to SMEs and public sector organisations, and include Revolution Bars Group, Kier Group, the Rugby Football Union, Pleasure Beach Blackpool, Doncasters Group, SCS, Dr Martens plc, Daylesford Organic, Ten Entertainment and NHS Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust.
