finnCap advises Maintel & K3 on significant fundraisings and M&A deals to conclude a record 2016
finnCap, the leading adviser and broker to ambitious companies, is delighted to have advised Maintel Holdings Plc and K3 Business Technology Plc on M&A transactions with a value of £56 million and associated placings to raise £38 million during April 2016. Both placings were arranged at a tight discount to market price and involved significant new institutional investors. The two transactions have contributed to a strong finish to finnCap’s FY16 year which has seen a record performance and demonstrates finnCap’s further development and capabilities.
Eddie Buxton, CEO of Maintel said:
“The placing was significantly over subscribed and we are delighted at the market’s response to the proposed acquisition of Azzurri Communications. We were impressed with the finnCap team in respect of their hard work, problem solving capabilities and their ability to help deliver such a great end result. finnCap have been a trusted adviser of Maintel since 2009 when we have grown from a £10m market cap company to an expected £100m following this deal and we look forward to continuing to grow together”.
David Bolton, CEO of K3 said:
“The response amongst new and existing investors was notable, as was finnCap’s energy and commitment to deliver to both a tight timetable and a tight discount”.
