Patryk Basiewicz
Patryk joined finnCap in February 2021 after a stint as an independent special situations/bottom-up equity analyst. His prior employer, Olivetree was the anchor client. At Olivetree, Patryk was responsible for formulation of investment ideas in European TMT equity space and handled fundamental aspects of Olivetree’s Event-driven product. His previous roles included other sell-side analyst positions as well as a management consulting at McKinsey & Co. In addition, Patryk held several buy-side roles, one of them being at a leading activist investor at the time. A previous academic, Patryk started his career as Associate Lecturer at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
